Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1. These Terms and Conditions apply to the “Support a Small Business” social media Competition hosted by Fastway Couriers South Africa.
1.2. By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Ts & Cs.
2. Eligibility
2.1. The Competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.
2.2. Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of Fastway Couriers and its affiliated companies or agencies are not eligible to enter.
2.3. Nominated businesses must be South African-based, currently operational, and may not be owned or managed by the entrant.
3. Competition Period
3.1. The Competition runs from 10 July 2025 to 14 August 2025.
3.2. Fastway Couriers reserves the right to amend the competition period at its discretion.
3.3. Winners will be announced on 21 August 2025 via Fastway’s official social media channels.
4. How to Enter
4.1. To enter, participants must comment on the official competition post by tagging a South African small business (excluding their own) and briefly sharing why they deserve recognition.
4.2. Only one entry per person will be considered.
4.3. Entries that are incomplete, inappropriate, or submitted after the closing date will not be eligible.
5. Prizes & Winner Selection
5.1. One (1) winning entrant will be selected by Fastway Couriers based on the creativity, sincerity, and impact of their nomination.
5.2. The prizes are as follows:
5.2.1. The winning entrant will receive R5,000 in cash.
5.2.2. The nominated business will receive R10,000 in cash and R5,000 in Fastway Couriers delivery credit.
5.3. Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash (except where stated).
5.4. Winners will be contacted via direct message on the platform they entered through. If Fastway Couriers is unable to reach the winner within 48 hours, an alternative winner may be selected.
6. Use of Personal Information
6.1. By entering, participants consent to their personal information being used for purposes related to the Competition, including winner verification and promotional announcements.
6.2. Fastway Couriers will process all personal data in accordance with relevant privacy laws and regulations.
7. Disqualification & Fraud
7.1. Fastway Couriers reserves the right to disqualify any entrant suspected of misconduct, self-promotion, or manipulation of the entry process.
7.2. Entries made on behalf of others or automated entries will be disqualified.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. Fastway Couriers and its affiliates shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participating in the Competition or accepting any prize.
8.2. Fastway Couriers is not responsible for technical issues, platform errors, or delays in communication beyond its control.
9. Changes & Termination
9.1. Fastway Couriers reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Competition at any time without prior notice if deemed necessary due to unforeseen circumstances.
10. General
10.1. These Ts & Cs are governed by the laws of South Africa.
